The number of WU computed since the rebirth of the project is 6 382 787.
I will need some time to check everything, and maybe create new WU for weird results.
There are only 22 000 errors. That's 0.3% :)

Well done. We need to create a new database in order to work on a new disease.

Wait and see but be ready!

Can you tell me the scientific results of FightMalaria@Home?

No! It's a secret!

Just kidding, I don't know. I will talk to Ant.

Why the WUs are so short? In my machines they take 3-4 mins and other projects' WUs take hours (for example, SETI around 4-6 hours). It isn't too much overhead? (starting tasks, networking overhead, disk writing, etc.).

Each project has its app and computational requirement. We are not SETI ;)

Ha, that´s right.
I just said it in one post:

<core_client_version>7.4.27</core_client_version>
<![CDATA[
<stderr_txt>

Receptor name: PF10_0271_2

Ligand name: TCMDC_136743_0

Seed: -1001139748

Score: -8.76926
16:51:42 (14860): called boinc_finish(0)

</stderr_txt>
]]>

As you can see we dock the Receptor and the Ligand. We have the seed and compute the score. This took only some seconds. ;)

Well, thank you Ben for informing us. As I said on the open data thread:
I will share the link via Mail to researchers. And: THIS IS AN f***ing MILESTONE!
So, be happy. :)

By error rate, do you mean WUs which do not validate and have to be re-run, or do you mean a more fundamental type of error?

The number of WU computed since the rebirth of the project is 6 382 787.
...
There are only 22 000 errors. That's 0.003% :)
Actually, 22 000 divided by 6 382 787 equals 0.0034 which equals 0.34%. Off by two orders of magnitude, but still quite a good result :)

If the score computed by Vina is >70 or >-70, it's an error, but no need to compute again. Each error is checked three times.

Some errors are related to the 32 bit version or random network error. So, yes, I will re-run some WU.

0.0034 = 0.34%... -_-
Thanks :)
