I said it will be 60M WUs but we have some work to do before.

Happy crunching!

Reissued ones from the previous batch, that went "invalid" due to technical (FS full) problems?

You mention, you cant manually reset the units to be resended once again cause you dont know how. So it was reason we were waiting . But is there a chance you can decrease time for workunits when we will be reaching the end once again ?

I'm getting a bare trickle of work units. Back in the day, we were looking at pages and pages of the things.

What's that about?

Apologies, I had to abort 40 wu today, (the ones from a couple of days were fine) but some incompatibility came up that affected the crunching and checkpointing of wu from other projects. This was solved by initially suspending all wu and then restarting computer.
This glitch is probably something that is specific to my computer, but to be on the safe side and so as not to waste time I have set no new tasks until till batch is completed.

please give more time to finish crunching the WUs, each of them takes until 8 hours and that's too short time for more than 40 WUs left.
Thanks!

have trouble: many WU never ends; 99,999% after several hours.
My CPU is AMD x4 640.
partial id of recent WU with problem: 364087_84023 or 364087_83755.

Oh, they do end. You just need patience, some of them can take 4 and 5 hours on my i3-3220 which is a little bit faster than what you are running. There is a large variance in the time need to complete some WUs, all the way from 30 sec. to, as I said 5 hours! My longest was 16,128.19 sec. or 4.48 hr.I've had longer, but that is the longest still available for viewing.

I'm experiencing long times on the WU's as well. The estimates say 2-3 hours, actual execution time is several days. The units start processing well (several percent points in about 10 minutes, but gradually the percent complete slows until it hits 99.999% and the system sits for 12+ hours with no finish. This doesn't look to be correct.

I've noticed another issue as well. When I put Boinc in snooze mode, the jobs continue to run using significant amounts of the CPU resource. At times, this has significantly impacted my systems ability to do other work and I've had to use the task manager to kill the jobs. Something just doesn't seem to be working with these jobs that take days to complete like this.

Greetings: I was telling a friend about BOINC and "my" projects, and then I don't see FiNDAH listed in the Wikipedia Article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_distributed_computing_projects. Hope you can do some 'self-promotion' there. Thanks! ... Back to crunching...

Greetings...
Could we have an update please on when any more WUs will be available.

Thank you,

Copy-Paste from my other post :)

I'm still here. I'm not dead. And I have some code ready.

Vina with the new BOINC API and a work generator with a running time estimation. I just don't have the time to work on uploading everything on the server.

I'll try to find some time to do that :)

Hi UCD Folks,

While I have much work from WCG, GPUGrid, malaria control, Rosetta@home and POEM@home, I cannot snag anything from this project. Are there any WUs available?

Thanks, John
