I have received this message regarding "Fight Neglected Diseases".

This is the notice verbatim:

"Fight Neglected Diseases: Notice from BOINC: This project is using an old URL. When convenient, remove the project, then add https://compute.gridrepublic.org/"

I admit that I am sort of low information about this site. Pretty much, I have decided what projects that I want to run, set up the project by determining how much disc space for each of my three computers and the other preferences, and then just let the system run automatically. I have RARELY had to perform any maintenance. So, here is my question:

I understand the idea of what the Notice is directing me to do. However, how can I make the website change that is requested in the Notice and also maintain the work credits already earned for the account? Do I have to lose all of those credits and start from scratch?

Sideline question (lower priority): I noticed that the three projects currently running are not using the same "Account User Name". Is there a method of changing the user name so that only one username is being used for all three accounts? These were obviously set up at different points in time, which has resulted in different user names. I am able to see all three projects listed on the website listing under my account, but I see no location for changing the user name to be identical for all the projects. Is there any fix?

Thank you in advance.

Well I did change and Wish I did NOT
You cannot manage your account on the new website
You cannot Join Back to your Team
If has NOT been corrected or updated on BAM! and be carful here.
Remove All your Computers from FiND@Home or the name FightMalaria@Home
Before you add the Project WITHOUT USING BAM!
https://compute.gridrepublic.org/
All you can do is logon with your Current info and view your computer and that is it. No Status No Application Info Nothing.

Then you will get TWO listed in BOINC Client and when do a Sync that is when all the fun starts all over again

Their are to many issues and unknowns to keep running the Project
gridrepublic network computing I do not seeing being approved by BOINC as well.

Bruce,

you do not need to reattach to the new URL, unless you want to clear the notice. If you do reattach, make sure you do not create a new account but instead use the existing account option. We synchronize your settings and credits between the new and old servers.

You can change your names in the "Your account" page ("other account info" link inside that page) on every project you are attached to. If you want all projects to be linked together and visible on the website, you will also need to make sure you use the same email address (you may have to reattach when you change your email, but again, be extra vigilant not to create new accounts but use existing ones instead).

You are not running GridRepublic; you are running FiND (Fight Neglected Diseases). GridRepublic is just a place which hosts the servers.

I'll have a chat with Willy at BOINCstats regarding BAM and FiND synchronization.
